Beautiful Jacaranda trees line the streets and every year one of Australia’s longest running flower festivals is held in Grafton.
The Jacaranda Festival is held through October / November celebrating the town’s magnificent lilac blossomed trees.
Grafton is full of History. You can visit one of the towns many museums such as Schaeffer House Museum and the Sisters of Mercy Heritage Room and Archives.
There are also numerous heritage listed buildings throughout Grafton that will give you some insight into the history of the area.
